INPATIENT ACUTE CARE PTA POSITION
SUMMARY: Promotes and maintains each patient s health by providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of and degree holder from a Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
Preferred experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree
Certifications: Current Arkansas PTA license in good standing required Current CPR certification
Preferred Education: Associate Degree

Must be able to operate a computer keyboard and PC mouse to utilize computer software for patient care documentation.
Work Environment
Patient care setting: within a hospital environment and in an outpatient setting.
There is potential risk for exposure to communicable diseases and blood or other body fluids.
Note: candidates who have worked for Baxter Regional within the last five years or who live within a 50 mile radius of Mountain Home, Arkansas will not be considered
