- The Short Stay Unit (SSU) is an 8-bed unit located on the 4th floor of the Main Hospital. The unit will care for the surgical, transplant, and cardiac populations needing general and progressive level of care.
- SSU will initiate care to patients needing access to health system services from outside locations and also support needs of same day or next day patients with a discharge order.
- Shifts will be 3 - 12 hour shifts, rotating days and nights, Monday through Friday, 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM.
- Every other weekend
- RN:Patient ratio will be 1:4
- Scrub color: Ceil Blue and/or White
