Position: Cloud Application Migration Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Hiring: Fulltime with Hexaware Technologies

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in planning and executing the governance of cloud adoption, IT transformation, cloud migrations, and technical implementation
• Good Understanding and Implementation experience around various Architecture Styles like SOA, Event-driven, Microservice, N-tier and queue-based
• Experience in customer-facing Cloud migration, service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations focusing on Infrastructure Modernization on a major Cloud Provider
• Minimum 5 years experience of handling Azure Cloud migration projects
• Hands-on experience of all the aspects of DC to Azure Cloud Migration
• Strong Knowledge in MS Azure Platform Development Azure Logic App, Azure API Gateway, Service Bus, Microservices, Event Hub, Stream Analytics, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL DW etc.
• Design and implement cloud architectures tailored to meet the specific requirements and security standards of projects Requirements.
• Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems, and experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
• Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premises-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
• Ability to learn/work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
• Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape Deep understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes in a multi-national environment
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals.
• Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally; engage/influence audiences and identify expansion engagements.
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with CTOs, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and developers
• Experience in infrastructure and cloud migration phases- Discovery/assessment, foundations and migration
• Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions
• Experience driving development of technical solutions solving business challenges by partnering with cross-functional and technical teams
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including but not limited to design diagrams, architectural decisions and documents, and configuration files
• Experience automating deployment of applications using desired state configuration, PowerShell, or other automation languages.
• Excellent communication and management skills, with a focus on translating complexity to non-specialist audiences
• Security specific Experience:
• Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture, automation, integration, and deployment (DevOps)
• Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Proven experience building security reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios
• Should work and build a solution with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM.
• Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape Deep understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes in a multi-national environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own and drive large enterprise Scale Projects for transformation.
• Manage the deployment of cloud based distributed virtualized infrastructure solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
• Develop scalable, dependable, and economical designs in close collaboration with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders
• Develop and maintain cloud migration and deployment plans
• Ensure that cloud-based solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud-based solutions
• Responsible for all technical aspects of application migration program
• Responsible for Creation of Platform architecture, deployment architecture, Security architecture design
• Responsible for ARB Reviews and Taking Sign-Off
• Understand client s expectations and implied requirements. Develop competitive and technically sound solutions addressing client expectations.
• Participate and drive technical discussions and explain Cloud solutions and product options to meet customer needs.
• Prepare technical proposals decks focusing on requirements and work on sizing and estimation.
• Involve in customer project delivery and managing customer expectations.
• Drive business innovations through systems on Cloud.
