The Systems Business Analyst will analyze current state of policy administration, document management, billing, and licensing management systems with an emphasis on improvement and successful transition to new systems Operations is a combination of people, process, technology, and the interdependencies of each. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can effectively lead system migration in a cross-functional team environment comprised of Operations, Contact Center and IT. This role will work on the transition from multiple legacy platforms to new systems with an emphasis on process mapping, business requirements, testing and defect identification, and working to support change management relative to system deployments. The role’s core responsibilities include analyzing systems’ current states, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing solutions, and delivering requirements that facilitate improvements in the areas of user experience and customer experience. A key component to this role’s success will be the ability to clearly quantify the impact of system improvements and sustain results post-implementation. Responsibilities: Create detailed mapping for current Operations systems Critically evaluate current systems to identify excess waste and define how each system feature adds value Write detailed business requirements for “future state” Operations systems (sales and service) Analyze variances between “current state” and “future state” and ensure every detailed nuance is identified and addressed with internal development teams Work on multiple work streams and maintain highly organized documentation of each Assist with User Acceptance Testing for new systems Establish feedback loops that utilize available quantitative and qualitative data to drive initiatives Act as a change agent by focusing on organizational effectiveness, improvement and development in the spirit of promoting success Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of systems, operations, project management, process improvement and/or consulting work experience with demonstrated increasing responsibilities In depth knowledge of system analysis and system change with a proven track record of successfully transitioning from one or more platforms to another or others Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Ability to translate technical concepts into layman’s terms in order to influence at all levels of the organization Ability to manage one’s own time and to formulate priorities to manage several tasks at once without frequent direction Proficiency in Power Point, Excel and Outlook required; Microsoft project and SQL query skills are a plus Master’s degree in Information Systems or other graduate degree, Scrum Master Certification, and/or Agile Certified Practitioner designation are a plus. Previous data analysis experience is a plus Additional Qualifications: The candidate selected will be a meticulous, detail oriented individual with a passion for organization and ability to simplify complex systems. This person will be a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment.
