Overview

The Clinical Tech Materials II will be responsible for supporting the hospital’s needs to provide quality care that improves the health of those we serve. Specifically, the Clinical Tech Material II will be accountable for the timely delivery of equipment throughout the hospital as requested through Central Services. In addition, the CTM II will monitor and report on the health of the equipment supply process to the Manager Sterile Processing, Unit Directors, and Manager Materials OR identifying system and behavioral issues/opportunities. This role will also validate proper cleaning of equipment is taking place.

The Clinical Tech Materials II will be expected to perform any other duties assigned or requested by their supervisor or a member of management.

Qualifications

Education / Licensure / Certifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in materials management or inventory control preferred.

• Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
• Must be able to prioritize task and respond quickly to Unit needs.
• Must possess and demonstrate excellent communications skills.
• Must be able to transport equipment throughout the hospital.
• Computer skills sufficient to utilize systems for tracking charges and equipment.
• Must be able to work safely by properly utilizing PPE while handling chemicals and dirty equipment.
