Masters the use of c-arm fluoroscopy and the surgical procedures it is used for. Functions in all traditional duties of an Imaging Technologist - Utilizes radiographic techniques under the direction of the Physician, to obtain diagnostic/operative images for the surgical procedure.
Education required: High School diploma/GED. graduate of accredited radiology program required.
License, certification and/or registration: ARRT Licensure required within 1 year of hire. BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required within 90 days of hire
Experience: Previous Imaging Technologist experience preferred. Student currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Radiology School. Completed a minimum of clinical experience within academic program.
Additional skills/abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Department specific competencies must be completed within the provisional period.
