Dealership Auditor

HHM CPAs is searching for an audit professional with experience in the dealership space. We are looking for someone that has 3-5 years in the automotive industry, preferably in public accounting that understands the intimate details of dealership auditing. This position will be an in-charge auditor responsible for reviewing all the audit processes and procedures.

This is an on-site position. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing audit engagement procedures performed by the audit team in a timely and professional manner
• Performing detailed audit procedures over various dealership income statement and balance sheet accounts when necessary, as well as dealership inventory, LIFO reserves, floor plan arrangements, etc
• Engage in buy/sell engagements and assist tax team as needed
• Meeting assigned deadlines or budgets and providing advance warning of any variances
• Assisting with managing, developing, and mentoring professional staff
• Participating in board and audit committee meetings presentations
• Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritizing and organizing efficiently
• Travel as needed to serve clients
