SummaryThis Direct-Hire position is in the Food and Drug Administration and is located in the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), Office of Regulatory Science (ORS). This position is a first level supervisor in an ORA field laboratory over a unit of Scientists. The incumbent is responsible for the technical and administrative supervision of all unit employees which includes planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work and performance of those employees.

Biology Series, 0401Degree: Bachelor or higher degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
ORCombination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Chemistry Series, 1320Degree: Bachelor or higher degree in physical sciences, life sciences, or engineering that included 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by course work in mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics.
ORCombination of education and experience: Education with courses equivalent to a major as shown in A above, including at least 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
