HI Management is Hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician~ Bluffton, IN./ Ft. Wayne, IN. Near Bluffton, IN
H I Management, a seasoned property management company, is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a Maintenance Technician position for two smaller apartment communities (98 apartment homes in total), one located in Bluffton, IN and the other in Ft. Wayne, IN.
This is a full-time position. Compensation package includes paid vacation, paid personal time, paid sick days, and paid holidays; a company sponsored 401k-retirement plan and a life insurance policy. The Maintenance Technician will:
Handle all work assignments in a timely, professional manner.
Performs routine preventative maintenance.
Handle all turnovers of vacant apartments, including cleaning, painting, drywall, lock changes, light plumbing, and other general maintenance repairs.
Maintain property appearance including community grounds, common areas on a daily basis.
Perform general repairs to buildings and apartment homes.
Perform snow removal duties as needed.
*Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year experience in multifamily maintenance and EPA not required but preferred. Must be personable, professional, dedicated and very handy. Mechanical ability, as well as knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Must be able to work at least a 40-hour work week and be available for rotating weekends and emergency needs for after hour service calls.
