We are seeking a Field Operations Manager (Tile Setter) to support a leading national tile company in Eau Claire, WI.
This is an onsite position open to local candidates. Job Summary:The Area Operations Manager is responsible for directing tile, terrazzo, stone installation, and floor covering activities in accordance with established budgets, schedules, plans, specs, procedures, safety standards and company standards.

This is an onsite position open to local candidates. Job Summary:The Area Operations Manager is responsible for directing tile, terrazzo, stone installation, and floor covering activities in accordance with established budgets, schedules, plans, specs, procedures, safety standards and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with project Managers to plan assigned jobs.
- Attend Project Shop Drawing Reviews and Pre-con meetings.
- Provide input on means, methods, layouts, etc.
- Recruits needed field employees.
- Develops day-to-day schedules.
- Coordinates with the material and equipment delivery schedules
- Oversees and trains field employees to assure project requirements will be fully met and recommend them for future assignment with the company
- Coordinates with the Project Managers to schedule needed personnel to execute project requirements.
- Attends routine job meetings and safety meetings to promote communication between all parties acting proactively to prevent and resolve problems.
- Responsible for quality control.
- Works with the Project Managers to ensure timely receipt of all needed materials, equipment, and tools to avoid work delays.
- Receives and verifies that items delivered to the jobsites are appropriate for the job and properly stored or protected to prevent theft or damage.
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of commercial tile experience.
- Ability to lead a team from a distance.
- 5 years of experience as a Foreman
