Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background with proficiency in various CAD software. This role involves creating detailed designs and models, collaborating with staff, and ensuring all designs meet project specifications and standards. Includes a week of training. Must be drug and alcohol-free once training is complete. Raises and yearly bonuses are available.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce 3D models using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and Inventor.
- Collaborate with teams to understand and translate project requirements into effective design solutions.
- Conduct system design analysis to ensure functionality and manufacturability of components.
- Prepare technical documentation, including assembly instructions and specifications.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot design issues and improve existing designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, NavisWorks, and Bluebeam is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles of system design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
