Meet clients at their stage of organizational growth and development to provide comprehensive and supportive human resources advisory services. Help organizations develop and communicate policies and implement effective HR systems and processes. Partner with other HR Consulting team members to effectively navigate complex HR situations with ease to exceed client expectations. Preferred Competencies and Skill Sets You are dynamic, flexible, adaptable and comfortable working with all levels of an organization to provide HR solutions of all shapes and sizes. You easily develop relationships based on trust. You are competent, results-oriented, confident, and can translate HR solutions into options for clients that they can understand. You set clear expectations and define specific deliverables but are flexible depending on client needs. You are able to effectively work on your own but are connected to the team and effective communicating as situations evolve and change. You are organized in a fast-paced environment and comfortable providing onsite support as a Client’s HR Business Partner as well as doing work behind the scenes. You keep current on the latest HR trends and best practices. You are comfortable writing and researching information to help convey the latest issues impacting business and HR. You are very comfortable with spreadsheets and online meeting technology. You are a strong communicator, written and verbal. Examples of Responsibilities Partner with team members on the team and across the organization to deliver the highest quality experience and HR solutions to our clients. Advise clients on HR best practices. Participate in the design, development and implementation of innovative workforce attraction, engagement and retention programs. Help clients strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs and practices into their daily operations to achieve strategic business results. Perform internal reviews and audits of current HR systems and policies. Assist with reclassification and classification of organizational roles and responsibilities. Work with clients to develop succinct job descriptions to provide up to date and clear expectations about essential functions, duties and responsibilities, and competencies to fulfil performance expectations. Advise on business practices consistent with human resource policies and labor laws. Expertise in FMLA, ADA, EEO, and other relevant labor laws so as to know what questions to ask and where to look to research solutions to competently convey answers to clients. Conduct job analysis and employee compensation benchmarking of base and variable pay in addition to performing custom market analysis to assist clients in developing competitive pay programs and structures. Provide salary structure audit and design as well as internal pay equity analysis. Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, programs and application of related government laws and regulations. Lead or co-lead HR-related projects. Provide advice on discipline and termination processes, consult on disciplinary review conferences and advise on appropriate outcomes. Preferred Experience – Not Required 4-year degree or equivalent education and experience. Experience as a HR Generalist or Specialist at small to medium sized organizations. Experience with employee compensation benchmarking and systems, and position classification. Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other relevant HR technologies.
