Clinical Manager – Lawrence Healthcare

Department: Clinical

Direct Report to: Clinical Director

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

About the Role:

  • The Clinical Manager (CM), is a lead management member of the treatment team, functioning as one of the primary facilitators for clients on the continuum between admission and discharge. The CM will collaborate with the Clinical Director routinely, assist in monitoring the progress of treatment plans, and assist in group program development assignments, and implementation.
  • Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Manager is responsible forassisting with each component of client treatment planning, including programmatic implementation, intake, and discharge.

Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health discipline, Counseling, Social Work, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience. Clinical license eligible is required (LCAC, LMHC, LCSW). 
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task, with exceptional time management skills. Ability to competently encourage and inspire direct reports in the delivery of stellar clinical services through professionalism. Demonstration of a client-centered team approach, with advanced computer skills.
  • Understanding of Behavioral Health & substance abuse disorders.
  • Scheduling flexibility REQUIRED to accommodate varied client admissionsincluding weekend andon-call assignments.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains adherence to HIPAA compliance in ALL communication regarding clients. Competency in usage of DSM-V.
  • When needed, provides initial screening for potential client admission.
  • Documents sessions with all clients, processes discharge as needed.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ethical treatment of all clients.
  • Professional boundaries, appearance, demeanor, and effective communication.
  • All duties and responsibilities assigned to therapists. 
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Executive Director.
  • Provide supervision to Case Managers, & substance Abuse Counselors. 
  • Complete competency reviews and training, in addition to routine performance reviews. 
  • Attend weekly staffing meetings with treatment team.
  • Audit Team documentation in EMR
  • Prepare group material for substance abuse counselors that go along with current curriculum. 
  • Client case load of minimum 8-10
  • Process group two times per week with current client case load.

 Compensation: $70,000-$75,000/yr
