Dietary Cook - Hickory Treatment Center at Indianapolis

Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Dietary Cook to join our dedicated team at Hickory Network. As a Cook, you will prepare and cook the clients healthy meals to promote improved health and well-being of all clients. 

Responsibilities: 

• Read & follow established menu, follow recipes, prepare food for each meal.
• Perform prep work, prepare food items, and share cooking duties with dietaryteam.
• Correctly read and execute recipes set by the DietaryManager
• Maintain compliance with health and sanitation guidelines.
• Additional duties as directed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Have basic kitchen knowledge and basic knife skills.
• General knowledge of nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $14-16/ hour
