Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, including Receiving Inspection, Manufacturing support, Return Material, Control of Nonconforming Product, and the Management Systems.
- Act as the Quality representative for New Product Development (NPD); communicate project plans and statuses. Manage NPD activities, ensuring timely completion and communication to project leaders.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing process engineering changes efficiently and effectively.
- Support Supplier Management and Development processes.
- Help develop process flow diagrams and value stream maps.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Product Engineering on product/process design and FMEAs.
- Assist and lead as necessary in the justification and development of ACEs (appropriation for capital equipment).
- Provide customer requirement assistance and product quality support to manufacturing, sales, and suppliers.
- Support Lean Manufacturing principles and practices in manufacturing and plant operations.
- Aid in the timely resolution and problem-solving of manufacturing and assembly issues.
- Develop process improvements to reduce product costs.
- Conduct statistical analysis and testing of products and processes.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team.
- Ensure Supplier PPAP and generate Customer PPAP as required.
- Facilitate Customer Satisfaction metrics and tracking.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a major in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Licenses/Certificates: Lean & Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
- Proficient in machining and assembly; knowledge of brake and/or hydraulic actuation products is a plus.
- Ability to lead and manage Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control initiatives.
- Familiar with APQP and its components, including PPAP.
- Experienced in auditing and managing quality management systems.
