Fleet Porter at HNS Recovery

Location: Plano, Texas 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with some overtime based on department needs) 

Starting Pay: $15 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Porter to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a general knowledge of vehicle mechanics and a desire to grow within the company. The Fleet Porter will assist the Fleet Manager in performing various duties essential to the smooth operation of our vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Fleet Manager with daily fleet operations.

- Perform general mechanical tasks such as changing tires, batteries, and other minor repairs.

- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition.

- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of vehicle maintenance.

- Ensure all vehicles are clean and ready for use.

- Help manage inventory of parts and supplies.

- Drive and park vehicles as needed.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Qualifications:

- General knowledge of vehicle mechanics (e.g., changing tires, batteries, basic repairs).

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills.

- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.

- 21 years old.
