Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Bartenders and Servers to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service as well as an awesome dining experience for our customers. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and/or dining area
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
- Operate the Toast POS system to process payments accurately
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change
- Promote sales by upselling and offering specials
- Handle cash transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer (Bartender)
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
Skills:
- Strong math skills, including basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and familiarity with different types of beer, wine, and spirits
- Proficient in using the Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale software or be willing to train.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, coworkers, and management
- Prior experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. OLCC and Food Handlers card preferred but must be willing to obtain.
