HiFyve is hiring a Vice President of Operations in South East PA!
  • Salary: $140k – $180k (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all manufacturing functions, including Machining, Laser/Cutting, Welding/Fabrication, shipping and receiving, Assembly, Millwright, and quality control, to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Drive operational excellence and support rapid company growth.
  • Lead daily operations to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
  • Supervise and support a team of 85-90 employees, with 5-8 direct reports.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor.
  • Implement lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous process improvements.
  • Uphold and enhance rigorous quality standards.
  • Achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental health, and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets and assist with financial planning and profit and loss (P&L) oversight.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including BOS, Lean, TVM, Kaizen, and VSM.
  • Monitor key performance measures and set goals for improvement.
  • Develop and optimize facility processes and future capabilities.
  • Align operations with strategic goals and prepare for future division leadership.
  • Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement plans for staff performance improvement and training.
  • Foster team member development and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, and sales teams.
  • Adhere to plant safety, environmental, quality, and productivity standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field required or 15 years of experience.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with expertise in machining, welding, fabrication, or automation.
  • Custom Manufacturing or Build-to-Order manufacturing experience
  • Proficient in Lean Principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong track record in implementing compliance and safety standards.
  • Proven hands-on leadership in a collaborative, growing environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation technologies; engineering background preferred.
  • Understanding of financial metrics and P&L management.
  • Familiar with strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and production methods.
  • Experience with ERP, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and respect employees at all levels.
