Stahl & Associates Insurance, a Higginbotham Partner, has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Longwood, FL. We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated insurance professional who can provide exceptional service to our commercial clients, while enjoying a collaborative culture and excellent work/life balance. Join our team and be part of our story! This individual will manage all aspects of servicing a robust book of middle market commercial P&C accounts. This is a true generalist book of business, including manufacturing, construction, contractors, social services, retail, and hospitality. In-depth knowledge of construction risks is helpful. The ideal candidate will be experienced with processing and renewal of policies and rating and quoting new and renewal business. Must also possess excellent customer service skills to answer policy and coverage-related questions. Other duties include checking accuracy of policies, processing endorsements, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of correspondence, applications, quotes and marketing information in accordance with company workflows and procedures, and preparing proposals and issuing certificates of insurance, as needed.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage workflows and handle competing demands and priorities
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and make sound decisions, following agency procedures, guidelines, and best practices

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years independent agency experience preferred
  • Agency management system experience required; Applied EPIC and CSR24 experience preferred
  • Must have a current FL 2-20 P&C license
  • Professional designations, such as CIC or CRIS desired, but not required

  • Longwood, FL
  • In-office or Hybrid work schedule available for qualified candidates
