Independent Contractor, Project Management (part-time)
High Lantern Group (www.highlanterngroup.com) is increasing its capabilities to meet growing client demand by adding a Project Management Independent Contractor. We are looking for high performers who are results-driven and execution-focused. The position will be based out of the Philadelphia office location, 24 hours/week.
This is an opportunity to work with a highly successful strategic consulting firm experiencing rapid growth. The successful candidate will be supporting the successful implementation of client projects while ensuring projects are effectively planned and well-organized.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Assist in developing project plans, documentations, and timelines.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and updating trackers.
Administrative Support:
- Utilize administrative skills to maintain project documentation, files, and records.
- Manage communication channels within project teams and stakeholders.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of project milestones.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on relevant topics to support project objectives.
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations to project managers.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders to foster collaboration and support project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Motivated self-starters with both relevant experience and interest in healthcare and/or public health, advocacy, communications, business, and/or public policy.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrator, and/or Paralegal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required.

High Lantern Group provides a competitive salary, benefits and bonus package for our employees and new joiners. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for new joiners for this role is $60,000 - $80,000. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to an individual's experience and expertise.
