Role and Responsibilities: As a Summer Sports Camp Coach at HPA, you play a vital role in bringing our mission of 'Be Legendary' to life. You will have the opportunity to empower young athletes to reach their full potential, both on and off the field, by providing top-quality sports instruction and fostering an environment where every athlete feels inspired to strive for greatness. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Leading and facilitating sports activities and skill-building sessions for athletes of different ages.
• Implementing age-appropriate training drills and exercises tailored to the skill levels of campers. 
• Providing constructive feedback and encouragement to help campers improve their skills and achieve their goals. 
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of campers during all sports activities, adhering to camp guidelines and protocols. 
• Collaborating with fellow coaches and camp staff to set up equipment and branding.
• Serving as a positive role model for campers, demonstrating sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others. 
• Communicating effectively with campers, parents, and staff members to address questions, concerns, and feedback. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience coaching youth sports, preferably in a camp or recreational setting. 
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more sports, including soccer, basketball, football, volleyball, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and engage with children of various ages and backgrounds. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, with the ability to convey instructions and feedback clearly and effectively. 
• Energetic and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for working with children and helping them succeed. 
• Ability to adapt to changing situations, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize the safety and well-being of campers. 
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (not mandatory, but preferred).
