State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a an LBS1 endorsement.
Manage a case load of students and fulfill the students' electronic (TieNet) IEPs based on the legal compliance requirements of ISBE (accommodations, annual reviews, domain/reevaluations, progress meetings, transition goals etc...)
Be knowledgeable about special education law and experienced with writing quality IEPs.
Ongoing communication and collaboration with staff, students and parents.
Attend case manager & Early Intervention Team meetings and keep up with the special education legal requirements.
Work closely with the building special education coordinator to stay in compliance.
