High Seas is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Website Specialist to join our team. As a Website Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and programming of websites across multiple brands and companies within our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that our websites effectively communicate our brand identity, engage our target audience, and drive business objectives.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Website Design and Development:

  • Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites for multiple brands and companies within the organization
  • Utilize industry best practices and the latest web technologies to enhance website functionality and user experience
  • Customize website themes and templates to align with brand guidelines and business requirements

2. Content Management:

  • Regularly update website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements, to ensure accuracy, relevance, and freshness
  • Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to publish engaging and SEO-friendly content on our websites

3. Website Maintenance and Optimization:

  • Perform routine website maintenance tasks, including software updates, security patches, and backups, to ensure website reliability and performance
  • Conduct website audits and implement optimization strategies to improve site speed, SEO ranking, and user engagement metrics

4. Programming and Customization:

  • Customize website functionalities and features by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages
  • Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs to enhance website functionality and streamline business processes.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, IT, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize website initiatives
  • Communicate project timelines, milestones, and status updates effectively to ensure timely delivery of website projects

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
  • Proven experience (3 years) in website design, development, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages
  • Strong understanding of web design principles, usability, and responsive design techniques
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and website hosting platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
