Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of culinary offerings. This position is at a Boy Scout camp where we provide comfort food, salad bars and basic food items for young children and counsellors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee kitchen staff, including training if needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute 3 meals per day.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food industry
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
