Job Title: HR SupportLocation: Houston, TXShift: DaysDuration: Contract-FulltimePosition SummaryThe MyHR Concierge Serve as Tier 1 HR support for employee, manager, and third-party vendor questions including but not limited to background check and drug screen, new hire orientation, I-9 process, and HR policy interpretation.
The position answers questions and troubleshoot issues related to an employee’s expressed HR, payroll, recruiting etc. needs.. Incumbent will also resolve more complex employee inquiries by researching issues and acting to resolve or further escalate if issues are unresolved.
The position performs administrative, transactional, and data record management activities in support of both HR and HR Information Systems (HRIS) functions, including processing transactions that may include but are not limited to employee data changes, status changes, compensation adjustments, employment verifications, and separations.
This role is crucial to executing the Legacy HR process and the MyHR Concierge must refer to Legacy HR policies when responding to inquiries. Works under the direction of the Total Rewards Director to ensure HR service and delivery is consistent and timely. The incumbent also works with the HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams, as well as other departments across the organization.
Essential Duties & Functions
  • Respond to both email and telephone inquiries, resolving questions or issues by accessing information in all systems that support the Legacy recruitment process (e.g., HR information systems such as HRIS platform, applicant tracking system, and other human resources management (HRM) systems
  • Process transactions by gathering information from candidates, employees, managers, recruiters
  • Perform data entry, filing, and sending requested documents or further correspondence
  • Help Legacy employees and managers navigate HR self-service resources and tools
  • Oversee and adhere to employee HR files and/or personnel file requirements in alignment with Legacy HR policies
  • Provide immediate, timely, efficient support to HR Business Partners/Training dept. during compliance audits by retrieving files, reviewing information to coordinate historical records, and compiling necessary documentation
  • Support the company-wide employee tuition reimbursement program by reviewing supporting documentation, calculating eligible balances, and entering tuition payments into the HRIS system
  • Facilitate entry of licensure and education, as well as upload background checks and drug screens appropriately for all hired employees
  • Manage edits in HRIS upon receiving request and approval from managers, directors, and HR Business Partners
  • Perform back-office transactions for general HR data processing in support of HR functions, including running ad-hoc and scheduled reports, data entry, data reconciliation, and sending communications
  • Perform special projects as assigned
Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Training (minimum Requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or similar field with two or more years’ experience or in lieu of education, five or more years’ experience in a similar role.
Required Years Of Experience (minimum Requirements)
  • 1 years of experience in HR Service Center

  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with special care taken to adhere to policies and procedures
  • Exceptional customer service, including follow-through on inquiries
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • High level of presenteeism
