The HRBP-HR Business Partner acts as the primary contact for employees to answer general human resource questions, process forms, and gather employee data and analytics.
Essential Duties & Functions
Assist and coordinate the daily functions of the human resources department including, employee resignations/terminations, compliance, analytics, reporting, and administrative support.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate person
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current EEO legislation, enforcing regulations with hiring managers to ensure equal employment opportunity
Evaluates job description with hiring manager to ensure qualifications and requirements are accurate, as needed and coordinate next steps with the HRBP’s and compensation
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Accomplishes organizational and human resources objectives by completing assigned tasks, as needed
Utilizes an energetic, proactive creative approach with excellent personal, organizational, and customer-service skills
Develops, evaluates, or reviews plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Training (minimum Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, community officials and the general public
Prior extensive experience sourcing candidates from a variety of social networking sites
Must be able to work with ambiguity or with minimal information
Ability to work in a faced-paced, ever-changing environment
Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
Excellent customer service with external and internal customers
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Software
Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications
