Highgates Management is seeking a reliable, experienced Housekeeper to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks at various apartment complexes including common areas and offices as well as vacant apartments for future residents. This position is a key member of the Highgates Team as they assist in creating a positive first impression for future residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform daily cleaning of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and stairwells including vacuuming carpets, sweep and mop floors, taking out trash, and dust surfaces including furniture.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms regularly including refilling soap dispensers, replacing paper towels, and ensuring proper functioning for fixtures.
• Responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units including appliances, bathrooms, glass, and all areas with the exception of carpet cleaning.
• Prepares vacant units that have been ready for more than one week to dust, vacuum, and freshen up.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and inventory and request additional supplies in a timely manner from maintenance or Property Manager.
• Report damages or maintenance needs to maintenance technician.
• Travel to various Highgates properties in the Louisville Metro area to complete daily assigned tasks (must possess valid drivers license).

• Accepts transferring from community to community as the workload requires including driving to and from different properties (must possess reliable transportation and a valid drivers license)
• Prioritizes workload
• Keeps constant communication with Property Manager
• Completes all tasks as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• 1 year housekeeping or janitorial experience
• Ability to work well with residents, supervisor, employees and vendors.
• Professional attitude/appearance
• Must have attention to detail/organizational skills
• Must be results oriented, while thriving in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
• Must be willing to consent to a background check and drug screen post acceptance
