There is a place for you at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health!Highland Rivers provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.JOB SUMMARY:The Incident Investigator is responsible for investigating incidents, complaints and other matters as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer. This role requires strong investigative skills, knowledge of safety protocols, knowledge of HRBH Policies and Procedures, and the ability to produce detailed reports. The Incident Investigator will examine evidence, interview witnesses, and analyze data to determine the root cause of events. They will then make recommendations to management to improve procedures and reduce the frequency of future incidents.Are you ready to make a Difference?Highland Rivers is seeking an Incident Investigator.Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct investigation into incidents/complaints to determine contributing factors and findings.
  • Analyze evidence/fact gathered to make detailed recommendations in concert with the Chief Compliance Officer and the VP of Human Resources that are in line with applicable laws and HRBH policies and procedures.
  • Interview witnesses and people involved to gain additional information.
  • Prepare detailed reports of investigation and findings.
  • Research applicable laws and regulations in concert with Human Resources and the Compliance Department.
  • Stay aware of the DBHDD provider manual updates and applicable regulatory and accreditation standards to guide investigation and assist in making recommendations.
  • Attend trainings regarding conducting investigations as needed
