We are seeking a Junior-level Computer Engineer / Electrical Engineer for our team in Jacksonville, FL. Founded over 30 years ago and based in Jacksonville, FL we develop mobile and technological solutions for military and industrial use in extreme and challenging environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom software and automation tools using Python.
• PLC programming with Siemens PLCs
• HVAC Digital Controls work
• Responsible for the design and development of Software and Programming for Electro Mechanical Systems including but not limited to Microcontrollers, PLC's and Computer systems.
• Will be directly involved with the hardware selection and design for all projects.
• Collaborating with senior Engineers, Designers, Developers and Project Managers to establish goals and deadlines
• Researching current and new technologies and programming solutions
• Writing and creating programs for specific uses per company or client needs
• Troubleshooting database anomalies, problems, inefficiencies and data loss
• Handling technical support queries on major and minor bug fixes and other issues
• Integrating updates and new features to existing software and hardware

Requirements:

• BS Degree
• 1-4 years experience
• Experience in Python programming language is required
• PLC Programming experience strongly desired, all others will be evaluated to determine how much training may be required for our systems.
• Experience with PLCs, microcontrollers, Arduino, and Rasberry Pi is desired.
• You must be a US Citizen... DOD and Military clients
• Solidworks (or 3D CAD packages experience)
• This role is 100% onsite
