The Membership Services Representative provides immediate, efficient and friendly customer service in person or over the phone. This positionis responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Highpoint members, prospective members and guests. We value the responsibility you have as the first point of contact for our members, guests and potential members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greeting members when entering or leaving Highpoint Fitness.
• Answering phones, taking messages and communicating and/or transferring calls to appropriate departments. Also may occasionally place outgoing calls as needed.
• Providing members with information on policies, programs and promotions.
• Responding to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevating to Membership Advisors or management as needed.
• Stocking and displaying pro shop merchandise.
• Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
• Ensuring compliance with company rules and regulations in the lobby area.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This position requires the candidate to demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving, multi-tasking, and conflict resolution skills. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in customer service/hospitality is preferred
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate patience and diplomacy in all interactions
