Highridge Medical is Hiring a Sr. Payroll Analyst Near Westminster, CO

Job Summary:

Ensure timely and accurate preparation, disbursement, and correct documentation of Highridge Medical’s US and Puerto Rico payrolls, stock exercise administration, and tax preparation.

  • Act as a Payroll Subject Matter Expert/Power User to the Payroll functional areas and other business areas.
  • Consult with members of Corporate Payroll and business to evaluate their Payroll needs and provide solutions.
  • Recommend changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of the payroll function.
  • Remain current of changes in laws, regulations, and rates which impact payroll functional area.
  • Ensure process integration across the breadth of Payroll functional activities.
  • Test and approve system configuration changes for area of responsibility.
  • Support reporting and analytics activities by writing complex queries and leveraging on the available reporting tools.
  • Act as change management champion for payroll systems and processes.
  • Facilitate training and change management activities related to the use of Payroll applications.
  • Document policies, validation, and other materials in the appropriate documentation system.
  • Ensure proper training, validation and documentation prior to system and process rollout into production.
  • Facilitate monthly payroll general ledger postings.
  • Payroll tax coordination and reconciliation with third party tax provider.
  • Manage Corporate Payroll owned account reconciliations.
  • Manage multiple projects at once, while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Provide back-up for all positions in payroll as necessary.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bi-Weekly Payroll Processing Management [Off-cycle Payroll Processing Management]
  • Daily Stock Exercise Management
  • Payroll Tax Coordination and Reconciliation
  • Month-end Payroll Processing Management
  • SAP System Maintenance
  • Periodic Reporting/Data Information
  • Weekly - EeTIME System Maintenance/Support

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Knowledge of core Payroll processes.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate issues and resolutions and provide the appropriate level of support while providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to communicate with all audiences on a global basis.
  • Organizational ability.
  • Should have a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines, solve problems, and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytic skills.
  • Ability to provide and display desired leadership to the Corporate Payroll Staff.
  • Demonstrate characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years payroll experience with a large firm preferred.

Salary: $73,040 - $95,866
