Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our esteemed Defense team in the Miami office. We are looking for candidates with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with trial preparation
- E-filing and Court Maps
- Calendaring and scheduling
- Subpoena preparation and control
- Drafting and preparation of correspondence
- Performing various administrative tasks
- Handling billing processes
- Supporting experienced associates with their fast-paced Defense caseloads
- This position is initially in-office. Following a 90-day probationary period, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset
- Experience in the following areas is preferred: Bodily Injury, Insurance Defense, and Time Slips
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
