To support this growth, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and attract the best talent to Highwire. We've grown from 15 to 75 employees since 2021 and show no signs of slowing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career or looking to switch from another high-volume role like sales or business development.

Your mission:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Highwire, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring the exceptional talent that drives our success. Serving as the "face of the company," you will be instrumental in maintaining our vibrant culture, upholding our values, and enhancing our employer brand. You will champion our unique "attributes over experience" hiring approach, ensuring everyone—from hiring managers to senior executives—adheres to our high standards in every candidate interaction.

What you'll do:

  • Hire A Players: Source, screen, nurture, and hire outstanding talent across Software Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, and more. Ensure all hiring managers and interviewers, including senior executives, rigorously follow our interview process.
  • Build Our Talent Community: Connect with top talent to create and maintain talent pools for immediate and future hiring needs. Establish relationships with key organizations and past applicants to sustain a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Drive Referrals: Champion and market our internal and external referral programs to generate high-quality referrals for each open position.

Who you are:

  • Impeccable Communicator: You speak and write clearly and effectively. You're not just professional and grammatically correct; you're engaging and personable. Your high energy and enthusiasm for opportunities are contagious, making people love interacting with you.
  • Curious and Eager to Learn: You love learning and understanding the world around you - you're not afraid to ask questions. Your curiosity extends to candidate interviews, where you dig deep to understand their background and potential.
  • Detail-Oriented: You're highly accurate when reviewing resumes, scheduling, and managing recruitment processes.
  • Decisive: You understand the importance of hiring the best and never compromise. You move processes along swiftly and efficiently without being pushy. You engage passive candidates and fast-track qualified applicants while adhering to our disciplined process.
  • Organized and Multitasking: You effortlessly juggle multiple positions and coordinate with numerous colleagues, balancing a changing workload while keeping an eye on long-term goals.

At Highwire, we hire for attributes over experience. While previous high-volume recruiting experience is helpful, it is not required. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds eager to make a significant impact by bringing the best talent into our high-energy, dynamic environment.

We're dead-set on hiring an internal recruiter, and we will not respond to inquiries from staffing firms.

Benefits:

Our benefits go well beyond the basics. To support your work-life integration, we built a benefits program that takes care of the whole person, including physical, mental, financial, and emotional health.

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance to all full-time employees. Best part? You'll be eligible on day one.
  • 401k. We offer a 401k and a 3% company contribution (even better than a match) to help you get ready to retire no matter how far off that seems.
  • Parental leave. We take care of new parents by offering paid time off for births, adoptions, and fostering.
  • Flexible PTO. Our culture of trust and measurement means there's no limit on time off, just an expectation of performance.
  • Mentorship. Our office-based culture fosters meaningful learning, growth, and mentorship for our team.
