Job Description
Mission Technologies, a Division of HII, is seeking a Red Forces IADS/SAM Operator as a member of the Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV. The individual's primary responsibility the accurate representation and operation of threat SAMs and IADS. Coordinated SAM engagements at the requisite levels - single SAM, Battery, or SABOC - to drive mission test and training objectives. Requires communication and coordination with Red Czar, Control Room Coordinator, and White Force Coordinator during execution/operation.

What you will do

Operating consoles to provide realistic representation of SAMS and IADS. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Orchestrate and operate constructive representation of red forces for test and training missions.
• Support the development and coordination JITTC-N training by providing IADS/SAM subject matter expertise during the planning and execution of training.
• Provide feedback and assist in the creation and modification of mission-planning materials to ensure participants achieve maximum training.
• Report issues related to stimulation software applications and provide basic trouble shooting support.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• Understanding of Air Force terminology to implement/emulate realistic red forces for test and training.
• Work Environment: Position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required. Must be capable of working morning and evening shifts to accommodate flexible schedule training operations.
• Clearance: DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of military surface to air missile systems.
• Experience with Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) Software.
• Military experience with aviation and combat systems.
• Advanced aircraft simulator experience and scenario development.
• Highly desired - Experience with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) and familiarity with its software components (NGTS, WSCE, DIADS, EAAGLES, GRID, Shot Log, ART, and SCE).

Physical Requirements
Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
