A healthcare provider in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Registered Dietitian with a recent experience as an RDN.

Job Description:

• Dietitians assigned exclusively to the Child Study & Treatment Center (CSTC) or the Habilitative Mental Health (HMH) patient care areas will play a vital role in patient treatment programming.
• Conducting classes and groups weekly, focusing on knowledge, skill development, health concepts, and field trip planning, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Weekly attendance at patient treatment meetings, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Regular rounds on wards to interact with patients multiple times per week, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Monthly attendance at patient community meetings, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Participating in patient program activities at least once per month during scheduled work shifts, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Conducting meal observations at least twice per month, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Actively participating in planning food-related activities with other members of the treatment team in patient care areas, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Meeting with patients in person according to established schedules and department safety guidelines, with flexibility for occasional exceptions.
• Assisting in managing the Nutrition School Meal Program software platform in collaboration with CSTC food manager, department food manager, clinical nutrition manager, and menu specialist.

Who should apply?

• Professionals with a bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Nutrition and completion of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics education program.
• Registered Dietitian status: 24 months of recent full-time experience as an RDN.
