- This position involves the coordination of clinical management of the Watchman program across the entire continuum of care.
- Manages and coordinates the Watchman program and assures thorough patient evaluation and education for Watchman procedures.
- Serves as a facilitator for the hospital structural heart program and drives performance and improvement initiatives.
- Acts as a resource and organizer for all areas caring for Watchman patients.
- Provides and/or coordinates educational activities for all patients, and audits the billing, coding and documentation for accuracy and improvement.
- Acts as a liaison on behalf of the Watchman program and the hospital to promote awareness and education .
- Works with the Structural Heart Coordinator for cross training for other Structural Heart program.
- Associate degree in nursing required,
- 1 year direct patient care required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- 1-2 years previous experience with Structural Heart Programs preferred.
