• (3) 12 hour shift per week. 6 per pay period. Minimum of 4 weekends shifts

Responsibilities:

The Charge Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. She or he provides direct care to these patients via the nursing process, the environmental/instrumentation and management of other health care team members. In additional, the Charge Nurse is expected to perform the duties of a Staff Nurse.

Job Requirements:

• Must have obtained an Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certification in CPR.
• NRP and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Two to five years of clinical experience (preferably in the area of application); experience in patient care management preferred.
