Candidate Profile

Hilldrup has an immediate need for an elite, highly energetic, very competitive self-starter with exceptional people skills to join our team of sales executives. The ideal candidate will be strategic and results-driven, with the ability to effectively develop and execute prospecting/sales goals.

Our workplace services model, focuses on all aspects involved with relocating corporate facilities across town or around the world.

The selected candidate will own a designated territory and report directly to the Vice-President of Workplace Solutions.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and executing customer-focused sales strategies that will demonstrate strong solutions and results for our prospects and customers.
  2. Prospecting, networking, and commanding a major presence in your territory by estimating/selling and closing of new business within Hilldrups workplace services line.
  3. Managing the customer sales cycle ensuring that all aspects of our services are delivered as promised. That includes ongoing communication with all stake holding clients, all internal clients services and operations personnel and even personal oversite of actual service delivery.
  4. Adhering to established sales techniques with a strong focus on ethical business practices, consistent with Hilldrups values, and meet your sales objectives which include achieving revenue and profit goals.
  5. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of workplace solutions and clients issues and needs.

Minimum Job Qualifications Required

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university, preferably with a concentration in marketing, sales and/or business.
  • Five to seven years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the moving or furniture industries.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous work.
  • Able to generate new business and maintain existing relationships independently.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding financial and business acumen.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
  • Adept regarding the use of technology.
  • Commitment to highest ethical practices.
