Job Description
RJV Equipment, LLC is a rapidly growing construction equipment dealership with multiple locations in Tennessee that is dedicated to providing top-quality products and services. As we expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The Senior Accountant’s duties include managing and processing accounts receivables, warranty claims, collections as well as some account payable functions for multiple locations. This position will also assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts, assist with month-end close processes as well as other necessary duties. This position is poised for an expanded role as the company grows.
To be successful as a Senior Accountant, you should have exceptional accounting skills and work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be well organized, highly detailed and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounts receivables process to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes for multiple locations.
• Implement and execute effective collections strategies, minimizing outstanding receivables and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Handle and process warranty claims in collaboration with relevant departments, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and timely application of customer payments, maintaining precision in financial records.
• Assist with AP process.
• Assist with reconciliation of GL accounts.
• Assisting in month end close process and reporting.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Supporting the implementation of control systems within the organization.
• Preparing and assisting with audits.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting.
• Proven experience in accounting leadership roles.
• Excellent understanding of GAAP and relevant financial accounting regulations.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to operate in a team environment.
