HILLTOP ANIMAL HOSPITAL is Hiring a Veterinary Technician Near Ebensburg, PA
We are looking for an upbeat Tech to add to our team! We are a small animal hospital (feline and canine) in Central PA. Our Vet has 40 years experience and is well known in the area.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- We are looking for a graduate with a certificate or equal experience for this position (at least 2 years). We will train, but we need a candidate with tech experience and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Doctor with surgeries (anesthesia experience is a plus).
- Performing dental cleanings.
- Exam assistance.
- Administer vaccines.
- Ear cleanings, toenail trims, minor grooming services.
- Pharmacology/filling prescriptions.
- Running bloodwork/Urinalysis.
- Prescription consultations.
- Cleaning and disinfecting surgery/exam rooms.
- Stocking and inventory.
- Must be excellent at notes/charting.
- Correct spelling and grammar are required for charting.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Mature attitude and being a team player is expected (**drama free** this is a professional place of business). <---- THIS is absolutely required, no personal drama will be tolerated and any drama that arises outside of the workplace and is brought in, will result in immediate termination.
Attendance is paramount. We need someone who can be here all hours that we are open. Our hours are M 815-6, T 815-5, Th 815-5, Fri 815-5.
