A Typical DayThe Maintenance Planning Coordinator coordinates the planning and scheduling of corrective, preventive and predictive work for all Maintenance disciplines. Oversee the execution of all site maintenance plans. Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and execute long term maintenance and major downtime plans. Communicate with operations staff, reliability, centralized planning and engineering to execute maintenance plans that optimize asset reliability and minimize downtime.
Job Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Maintenance manager to manage and oversee all maintenance activities.
• Provide direction, development and leadership to maintenance supervisors, planners and technicians.
• Participate in operations meetings and lead the maintenance planners Daily Approval Meeting to ensure alignment with operational objectives.
• Work closely with Inventory/Supply Chain to ensure component availability and proper stocking levels.
• Collaborate with plant management, engineering, and support groups to lead the development of new and or improved asset reliability programs.
• Work closely with centralized planning to ensure downtime jobs and estimates are accurate.
• Manage backlog of work orders in SAP.
• Monitor KPIs related to maintenance.
• Prioritize safety above all other job duties by having a safety first approach at all times.

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma and 6 years related experience OR Associate's degree and 5 years’ experience OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years related experience OR Master’s degree.
• Able to demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of preventative maintenance techniques/scheduling and safety management.
• Performance management skills/ ability to collaborate and coordinate team members and projects.
• Experience working with SAP.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years related experience OR Masters degree plus 1 year related experience
• Proficient in Maintenance SAP program.
• Tactical knowledge of production operations.
• Experience with reading PI&D and tech manuals.
• Experience with work orders, priorities and scheduling.

Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe role has periods of time when the work environment is sedentary and conducted in an office environment balanced with frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/ carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis. Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations.
