POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing service that is fast, friendly, efficient and professional, while maintaining all sanitation standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties :

1. Service Excellence is our Goal. Providing unmatched Guest Experience with amazing service skills is key for this position.

2. Ensuring all opening & closing Duties are completed every shift. Eye for detail is required and ensuring a complete job is done before ending shift.

3. Is attentive to guests needs, such as keeping beverages full, serving condiments before food is delivered, checking back with guests within two minutes of delivering food to insure guest satisfaction, anticipating guests needs before being asked.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Must be punctual to be on time as per schedule and follow directions as required

Informs manager of any quality issues.

Pre-busses as necessary to maintain proper presentation on tables.

Presents accurate guest checks promptly. Accurately reports sales and gratuities. Complies with gratuity procedures established by company policy.

Adheres to sanitation standards.

Adheres to local liquor laws, company policies and Alcohol Awareness programs. identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age.

Has full knowledge of the menu.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with guests and coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.

Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.

Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor.

Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve hotel and company goals.

Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Education and / or Experience :

A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills :

Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to read and interpret simple documents, reports, manuals and correspondence.

Must be able to write simple documents, reports, manuals and correspondence.

Must be able to speak effectively with clear speech to individuals and groups. Multilingual skills helpful but not required.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills :

Has the minimal skills necessary to operate a computer. Can log on to a computer system, navigate in windows, perform simple tasks within applications and enter information into a database.

Reasoning Ability :

Must be able to apply Common-sense logic anti, understanding to carry out instructions provided in written or oral form. Must have the ability to solve problems involving several variables in given situations and interpret a variety of instructions provided in written and oral form.

Must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment and decision-making.
