Home2 Suites is seeking a thorough Maintenance Manager to help preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will supervise and perform maintenance tasks such as painting, patches, and caulking. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, conducts themselves with integrity, and be a positive example for their team members. The Maintenance Manager reports directly to the Maintenance Chief and will assist them with daily, weekly, and monthly projects.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean, etc.)
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, toilets, drywall.)
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (room preventative maintenance) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
• Help administer hotel maintenance programs designed to keep the property comfortable for hotel guests

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician or supervisor
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
