Position Purpose:

To serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, taking food and beverage orders from guests, and serving the order in a timely manner. In addition, inputting the order into the MICROS Point of Sale System.
• Maintain proper and adequate set up of the service area on a daily basis. This includes stocking of paper products, and condiments, rolling of silverware, and making non-alcoholic beverages based on the projection of business for the day.
• Cleans service areas, equipment and the general area surrounding Barefoots.
• Performs end of shift paperwork and cash drop.
• Retrieves orders from the storeroom; checking to ensure accuracy of order.

Experience:

Prior food and beverage experience preferred.

Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
