Position Purpose :

To serve beverages and / or food to the guests pool / beachside in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

Essential Functions :

Greets guests poolside and on the beach in a courteous and friendly manner, taking food and beverage orders from guests, and serving the order in a timely manner.

In addition, inputting the order into the MICROS Point of Sale System.

• Maintain proper and adequate set up of the service area on a daily basis. This includes stocking paper products, and condiments, filling all ice coolers, and making non-alcoholic beverages based on the projection of business for the day.
• Cleans service areas, equipment and the general area surrounding Barefoots to include pool and beach areas.

You must walk the beach or pool to pick up any restaurant trash from the day.

• Performs end of shift paperwork and cash drop.
• Retrieves orders from the storeroom; checking to ensure accuracy of order.

Experience :

Prior food and beverage experience preferred.

Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
