On the Mobile Software Engineering team reporting to the Senior Manager iOS Software Engineering, you will support projects including the design, development, documentation, and troubleshooting of our Hilton Honors iOS application and new technology projects involving iOS.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible and unit-tested appropriately

Build working proofs of concept with detailed documentation

Debug and resolve production issues as needed

How you will collaborate with others:

Communicate frequently and effectively with other engineers on the team in addition to our product managers, scrum masters and creative team.

Share new technology opportunities with the broader team.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

Implement new requirements within our Agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field

Two (2) years of full-cycle software development. Experience should include all the following: design, coding, testing, release and maintenance

Two (2) years with iOS application development with at least one app shipped to the Apple App Store

Experience with Xcode (interface Builder, Instruments)

Experience with Swift and Objective-C

Experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, KVO, Core Data, URL loading, and web services

Experience with architectural design patterns such as MVVM and MVC

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Familiarity with Agile software tools such as JIRA

Travel up to 10% as needed

It would be useful if you have:

Bachelors Degree, or Associates Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience

Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field

Four (4) years of full-cycle software development in an Agile environment

Have multiple apps shipped to the Apple App Store
