Qualifications
Education: Hold a Bachelors degree or Masters degree inEducation
Hold a Massachusetts Teaching License in Elementary 1-6 orEarly Childhood Pre K-2
Meets all state and federal guidelines in order to be fullylicensed and Highly Qualified.
Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidatesmust have such authorization by their first day of employment.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Ability to use technology effectively.
SEI Endorsed or ESL certified
Current knowledge of implementation of the MassachusettsCurriculum Frameworks/Standards for the elementary grades.
Responsibilities
Creatively provide an interdisciplinary course of study thatintegrates reading, writing, and analytical skills development inalignment with the Massachusetts CurriculumFrameworks/Standards for core content areas.
Provide for differentiated instruction to meet the needs of alllearners, including students with disabilities and Englishlearners.
Create a developmentally appropriate, child-centeredenvironment that establishes positive student behavioralexpectations conducive to all learners' needs throughstructured routines and positive behavioral interventions.
Establish a classroom structure that values positiverelationships through the intentional implementation of anappropriate curriculum.
Provide an equitable and inclusive learning environment that isresponsive to all learners and their families.
Partner with families to create strong two-way communication.
Regularly partner and plan with grade-level and school teamsto provide the best educational program possible for allStudents.
Collaborate and communicate with all colleagues to positivelycontribute to the school culture.
Provide opportunities for the integration of technology into theclassroom.
Administer and analyze district and state formative andsummative assessments in accordance with district guidelines.
Apply assessment data in planning for the differentiated needsof students.
Responsible for other job-related duties as needed.
