We are currently seeking a Production Control- Service Parts Specialist for our Marion, AR location reporting directly to the Manager, Production Control. This position is in the Production Control group which provides services to the production manufacturing group and NAMCs. These services include providing raw materials to the production manufacturing group and finished goods to NAMCs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with Suppliers, order tracking, and parts shortage problem-solving planning.
• Service Parts Order Management
• Import daily service parts orders into local ordering system
• Send and update monthly service parts production plan
• Communicate with various departs on current behind condition and maintain recovery plan
• Weekly update to Toyota Service Parts Group on recovery plan status
• Ensure daily ASN data is transmitted through ASN website
• Work closely with Service department to ensure all past due orders are closed in a timely manner
• Issue Purchase Orders for any packaging requirements for Service Parts
• Coordinate build ahead activities and communicate with all departments on status of plan vs. actual
• Participate and help coordinate plant wide bi-annual physical inventory activities

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or accounting related field and APICS Certification preferred
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• 3 years experience in a Production Planning/Purchasing related field in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Good problem solving skills

Skills Required:

• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines/targets
• Ability to identify and effectively resolve problems
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio) and other computer applications/programs
• Knowledge of 5S/TPS policies
