Job DescriptionOur boutique consulting firm client is searching for an Administrative Assistant for their office located in the Upper Kirby/Montrose area. This person will work closely with the President of the company in providing consulting and advisory service to clients in the building maintenance industry. The working hours are 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and the salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 per year. Duties/Responsibilities:
Create and distribute agendas for consulting meetings. Most of the meetings are on Zoom.
Participate in client meetings and provide requested documents during the meetings (spreadsheets, presentations, resources, etc.).
Provide minutes after Zoom meetings (including meetings you may not have participated in).
Provide other correspondence to company employees and clients.
Assist with administrative tasks.
Assist with structuring plans for new clients that would include goals, timing and duties.
Internal planning meetings with president to organize and strategize plans for client meetings.
Create new resources for clients such as book summaries, step-by-step instructions on how to utilize a newly created resource, etc.
Create PowerPoint slide shows for industry tradeshows.
Assist president on speech writing.
Track & assist with various personal items for the president.
Other miscellaneous duties.
Requirements:
Strong experience with utilizing Zoom and its various controls.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Professional demeanor and excellent communicator (verbal and written).
A degree strongly preferred.
