A high-growth insurance company in the Rolling Meadows, IL area is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance Underwriter who wants to make a significant impact while growing their career. In this role, you will play a vital part in analyzing risk and assisting with underwriting policies. You will learn from experienced underwriters and gain valuable hands-on experience in the insurance industry.

• Compensation: Starts at $70K (DOE) benefits opportunity for growth
• Location: Rolling Meadows, Illinois (on-site for first 90 days, then it will be hybrid)

• Manage risk portfolios, accurately and efficiently issue policies and endorsements, and ensure successful outcomes
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to successfully make strategic decisions, streamline processes for optimal productivity and develop a cutting-edge underwriting program.
• Deliver exceptional services while enhancing broker-partner relationships.
• Consistently uphold the highest ethical standards and professionalism in all aspects of your work.

What You Will Bring

• 3 years of underwriting experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector.
• Versatility demonstrated through experience in the business's E&S, Admitted, or Brokerage sides.
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and pursuing further development opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges and a track record of delivering results.
